We are part of a movement to improve the packaging industry.

Every year around the globe, around 8 million tons of plastic waste ends up in the ocean. Vietnam currently ranks 4th in the world in terms of plastic waste, with 730,000 tons of plastic waste discharged into the sea every year. 500 years to decompose is too long a time.

For our bar products, we are using a home-compostable packaging that consists of 3 layers: paper, metallized cellulose and corn starch derived bio-plastic. It has the ability to decompose within 18 months into CO2, H2O and organic waste without leaving any harmful residue.

For our Granola Bites, we are using recyclable plastic that, unlike 99% of other snack packaging, can be recyclable up to 9 times.

Finding a balance between shelf life, less food waste and sustainable packaging is not easy (it took us 2 years to figure out!). The industry keeps innovating, so are we. We continue to test material and to learn about less impactful packaging.
