Sourced ethically

produced where it is sourced – in vietnam!

Vietnam has an abundance of ingredients that are perfectly suited for healthy eating (who has not enjoyed some healthy Vietnamese food somewhere in the world?).

One of our key principles is to source as much as possible directly from the farms in Vietnam. That helps to have the farmers receive more of the value in the supply chain who can reinvest the proceeds in better machines, more people and certificates.

Also, the less we import our ingredients from overseas, the more we reduce our carbon footprint. Quite straight forward.

Who is ready to join the farm-to-snack revolution?

SOUTH VIETNAM

The tropical South

Whoever had the chance to enjoy our products is usually amazed by the fresh and tropical taste. That’s because we source our dried fruits from the tropical Southern provinces of Vietnam. Mangos, bananas and pineapples are from the farms in Tien Giang Province.

The coconut nectar, that gives our products its unique sweetness, comes from the farms in Tra Vinh province, on the southern tip of Vietnam. Ben Tre province is famous for its coconuts, so it’s a no brainer we get our coconut flakes from that area.

The cashews benefit from the nutrient rich soil in Vinh Phuc, a province north of Ho Chi Minh City.

CENTRAL VIETNAM

The drier highlands

The provinces of Lam Dong and Dak Lak are famous for pristine pine tree forests, beautiful lakes and some wonderful hikes.

Also, some rich cacao is grown there, besides some high quality robusta and arabica coffee.

Our cacao butter, cacao nibs and cacao powder comes from farms outside Da Lat, in Lam Dong province.

North Vietnam

the cool North

Some might not know that Vietnam has some regions high in altitude. Those regions are great for growing rice and some other fruits.

One of the reasons our fruit & nut bars have a unique taste is because we are using prunes from Moc Chau, in Son La province.

The prunes are grown by a co-operative (called OCOP in Vietnam) where many smallholders are grouped together to offer high quality products for the domestic and international market.

We are extremely happy to work with dozens of prune farmers in Moc Chau.

Imported

What Is not (Yet) sourced from Vietnam

Unfortunately we can’t find everything in Vietnam in order to provide world-class products. We are constantly working on finding suppliers in Vietnam that can offer us these ingredients.

As Vietnam develops into a more sophisticated manufacturing hub, we are optimistic to find more local suppliers here as well.
